As part of its activities Delhi Tourism organizes many fairs and festivals and in this series 4 days “Western Music Carnival” from 22 to 25 December 2023 is being organized at Kala Gram, adjacent to Garden of Five Senses, Said-ul-Ajaib, New Delhi.
Music plays a pivotal role in the lives of common people. In India classical music possess very important role but western music also has its own place. Music also works as a meditation tool in our life.
In the modern era where Indian youth are getting education on the bases of western education policy due to which they are attracted more towards the western culture, resulting their inclination is increasing towards the western music.
Indian culture which gives equal respect to every art, culture, food and music. In such a situation, Indians have also adopted western music. The present youth are highly influenced from the Bollywood (music / film) industry, which is also based on western music.
Keeping this festival season in mind and the interest of the youth, Delhi Tourism is organizing a four-day Western Music Carnival. During the carnival, famous bands will thrill the visitors with their performances. The day wise band performances will be as under:-
22nd December, 2023 – Delhi India Project
23rd December, 2023 – Suryansh Project
24th December, 2023 – Antriksh
25th December, 2023 – Parikrama and Friends
The timings of Western Music Carnival will be 11 am to 8 pm. The entry fee on the first day of the carnival (December 22, 2023) will be Rs 100/- and from December 23 to 25, 2023, the entry fee will be Rs 200/- per person. The entry of childrens upto 15 years free to the carnival.
