For Swati Mehrotra and Deepika Rathi, that thought became the starting point for something truly special.

What began nearly a year and a half ago with just five homeschooling mothers has now grown into the Noida Moms Tribe (NMT)—a warm, energetic and ever-growing community of 250+ mothers in Noida, built around connection, conscious parenting, experiential learning and women supporting women.

And honestly, we love a good community story!

From Five Moms to a Growing Tribe

Noida Moms Tribe started with a simple idea: homeschooled children needed a space where they could meet other kids, play, collaborate and learn beyond the four walls of home.

The early days were wonderfully uncomplicated—garden playdates, storytelling sessions and outdoor art activities brought the children together while giving mothers an opportunity to connect.

But something clicked.

Word spread, more mothers joined and what started as a small circle gradually became a community that parents across Noida wanted to be part of.

The secret? There was no pressure to be perfect. It was simply about creating a space where mothers and children could belong, explore and grow together.

When the Tribe Crossed Cities

The story didn’t stop at Noida.

When co-founder Deepika Rathi relocated to Jaipur, she carried the idea of the tribe with her and started a new chapter there.

It was a beautiful example of how a community can travel—not because of a physical space, but because of a shared belief.

Meanwhile, in Noida, Ujjwal joined Swati to take the community forward, bringing in new ideas and experiences for both children and mothers.

Today, the Noida and Jaipur chapters continue to build their own identities while staying connected by the same core philosophy.

Because Kids Need a Village Too

For NMT, childhood isn’t just about worksheets, classrooms and structured schedules.

It’s also about getting messy, making friends, asking questions and experiencing the world.

The community regularly creates opportunities for children to learn through playdates, outdoor activities, curated pop-up flea events and experiential outings.

One such experience includes immersive visits to places like Agro Organic Farm, where children can step away from screens and discover nature and real-world learning.

It’s the kind of childhood experience many parents are consciously trying to bring back.

And Moms Need Their Tribe Too!

Let’s be honest—mothers deserve some fun too!

Noida Moms Tribe isn’t only about children. It creates a judgment-free space where women can simply be themselves, meet other mothers and take a much-needed break from their everyday routines.

The community’s “Mom Kitties” have become a popular way for mothers to unwind, chat and connect, often over good food and conversation at local favourites such as The Pantry Car in Noida.

Because sometimes, a couple of hours of uninterrupted adult conversation is self-care!

From Mompreneurs to Women Supporting Women

One of the most inspiring aspects of NMT is the way it supports women building businesses of their own.

The tribe has become a network for local mompreneurs, where members promote one another, share recommendations, mentor each other and actively support businesses within the community.
