AAMAD Dance Centre organised Flying Wings, an inclusive dance production that brings together people from diverse backgrounds. This program was held on 30th March 2021 at Creative Creation Studio, Vaishali. The festival was supported by the Ministry of Culture, New Delhi.
Aamad’s efforts in continually working towards the betterment of our society, as well as a testament to the importance of arts in promoting cultural values and heritage. FLYING WINGS dance production has created awareness among the masses about the abilities of persons with disabilities and its inclusion with performing arts.
This inclusive production explored the diversity & Inclusion in Indian dance and music.And showcased that there are no limits of either the body or of space to go high and touch the sky. The message highlighted the marginalized populace of the country, especially Divayangjan through an innovative artistic expression to a wider audience and communicating by Rani Khanam and her team from AAMAD Dane Centre. One can witness the indomitable spirit of these artists, as they left the audience spellbound. The program was highly appreciated by the viewers, press & public.
This performance certainly has taken every one to a surprise as something never seen before. Themes of Performances were based onDevotional, Rhythmic, Patriotic and Innovative Themes. The dance performance performed by professional classical dancers and differently abled artists, who come from highly skilled professional backgrounds and are well trained in classical and modern dance and music for more than a decade. ‘Flying wings’ program’s achievement; its helped to change the arts arena through their meaningful presentation to a large number of the art connoisseur and in general public.
The choreography was done by Rani Khanam,Music by Md. Mustafa and costume by Rabia Ahmed. The Performing artists were ; Rani Khanam, Shikha Sharma, Chetan, Aamir Khan, Aadil Khan, Sonu Gupta, Aadrika, Shubhangi Aggarwal, Prachi Saha, Shubhangi Goel and many more.
